Devotional Services at Chic Church Mission
Second and Fourth Sunday Mornings of Each Month at 8:30- Our church is carrying out ministry in the historic Chic Church building at 4643 Chic Road, Finley, Tennessee. The church has sat largely empty since the historic flooding of 2010 which caused the congregation of Chic Free Church of God to relocate to other congregations. On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, we hold a reflective time of worship featuring hymn singing, a devotional sermon, and a time of prayer. Services are typically led by Missionary Andy Davis with occasional visits from the pastors of Finley Baptist. We are thankful for the remaining membership of the Chic Free Church of God for their partnership in this ministry!
Sunday Evenings
Our church follows a unique Sunday evening schedule. Our “Faith, Family, Finley” model is designed to offer a wide variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, while also allowing our church members the opportunity to build fellowship with one another and their families.
Two Sunday nights of every month are designated as “Faith Nights”. These nights typically consist of a worship service with music, prayer, and preaching in the sanctuary at 6 o’clock. At times, the service may be replaced by short-term study classes. “Family Nights” occur once per month. On these nights, we offer our church family a night to relax at home or to gather with one another for small group fellowships. The remaining night of a typical month is our “Finley Night”. This night is designed to build up the fellowship of the church through having special events, special worship services, or participation in mission projects. When a month contains five Sundays, the fifth Sunday will be used to hold a Lord’s Supper Service.
To find out what the month’s schedule holds, check the church calendar in the bulletin or contact the church.
Midweek Services
Wednesday Nights at 6:30- We offer a midweek prayer meeting and Bible study along with classes for kids and students from nursery through high school.
